Ideally, we would like to have at least 3 weeks. This gives us a chance to properly draft an amazing job description, advertise it to qualified candidates, and start the initial vetting process. This does not take into account how long your internal interview process may take once you have been given pre-screened candidates. If you have a multi-step interview process, it will add time to the overall process.
